osCommerce to OpenCart

I have handcrafted scripts to import several categories with hundreds of products from osCommerce websites to OpenCart.

The benefit of handcrafted scripts over generic scripts is that I can accommodate modifications from the default store setups, populating additional fields or tables and using some clever techniques to intelligently populate new fields in OpenCart that were not present in the osCommerce database.

An example of this is generating seo-urls from product or category names, stripping out non-url-compatible characters and automatically preventing duplication.
